Philippine Army Officer Candidate School
The Philippine Army Officer Candidate School (PAOCS) is a military training institution that trains and commissions qualified individuals into the Philippine Army officer corps. The primary goal of PAOCS is to develop future officers of the Philippine Army who possess:
- Leadership: The ability to command, motivate, and inspire soldiers.
- Physical Fitness: The strength, endurance, and agility necessary for military service.
- Mental Toughness: The resilience and determination to overcome challenges and adversity.
- Moral Character: The integrity and ethics required to uphold the Army's values.
The training program at PAOCS is rigorous and demanding, designed to prepare cadets for the challenges of military leadership. It includes both academic and physical training, as well as practical exercises that simulate real-world military scenarios.
This training at PAOCS will now be showcased in a 7-episode web documentary produced by The Philippine Army, through the Army Personnel Management Center. This reality series showcases the journey of 7 Army officer applicants from diverse backgrounds at the Philippine Army Officer Candidate School (PAOCS), from their oath-taking until they are commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the Philippine Army.

The premiere screening was held at the University of Makati Auditorium on September 1, 2024. Episodes 1 to 3 were screened onsite and streamed online during the premier day while episodes 4 to 7 will be posted online through the ‘Join the Army’ and the 'Philippine Army' Facebook pages and YouTube channels.
