“SOCO,” “Patrol ng Pilipino,” “Storyline,” “Krusada” and “XXX” now on DZMM Teleradyo
In line with the 25th year anniversary of DZMM, they will mark another milestone with the launch of the ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs time block on its DZMM Teleradyo. (exclusively available on SkyCable Channel 26)
Now you can watch your favourite Kapamilya current affairs programs “SOCO,” “Patrol ng Pilipino,” “Storyline,” “Krusada” and “XXX” every weekdays, at 9:15 PM after Usapang De Campanilla on DZMM Teleradyo, currently the nation’s #1 cable news channel.
This new breakthrough was unveiled via a press launch held at the 14th Floor of the ABS-CBN compound hosted by Jasmin Romero.
The event was attended by Peter Musngi, (ABS-CBN Manila Radio Division Head) and Ging Reyes (Head of News & Current Affairs of ABS-CBN.) XXX’s Julius Babao and Anthony Taberna were also present. My favourite late night current affairs show, S.O.C.O with host Gus Abelgas was also there to grace the event.
The director and writer of “Storyline” (the Silver/Bronze Medalist at New York Festival) were also present. It’s not surprising that the director has background on filmmaking because each of their episodes is really movie-like. This is actually the only ‘news & current affairs’ program with no hosts.
BLOG-PH.com asked Ging Reyes (Head of News & Current Affairs) if they have plan of putting up a ‘News TV’ that will aired on free TV, since both of their closest competitor GMA-7 and TV5 already have their own. She answered that, “As of now, we don’t have plan yet. We know that atleast two other news channels exist, but we know that we have a gem in DZMM Teleradyo.”
Now you don’t have to sleep late just to catch your fave news & current affairs program because as early as 9:15 PM you can already catch “SOCO,” “Patrol ng Pilipino,” “Storyline,” “Krusada” and “XXX” weekdays on DZMM Teleradyo.
