Play 'Alter Space' to Save Our Place
I don’t usually wake up early in the morning because I’m not really a morning person, but this day is not the usual, since I’m already awake at 4AM. Why? Because I will be at The Nuture Spa Village in Tagaytay. It’s for the blogger launch of the Filipino made Facebook game called Alter Space.
Upon arriving the staff, greeted us warmly and let us choose on their bowl ala fortune cookies. The above is what I got.
They also let us munch on this native delicacy for our quick breakfast.
Here's some of the lovely photos of this lovely place.
Come noontime is the event proper, where the briefing for Alter Space happened. Question and answer portion came after that. The event is attended by AboitizPower heads, endorser Anton Del Rosario of the Azkals Football Team, the other ambassador Alodia Gosengfiao is actually on the hospital on this day :'( But I got a lot of pictures of her on the press con of Alter Space few days ago.
Here's Basty Lacson, the Chief Reputation Officer of AboitizPower giving a brief background on Alter Space.
Anton Del Rosario of the Azkals sharing his insight on this new FB game that is developed for the people awareness on environment concerns. He said that he gladly accept the invite to be the ambassador of Alter Space because it's his personal advocacy.
Here are the whole team behind Alter Space, who is now played by 19,000 people all over the world since launching it yesterday. When asked what they expect in return in spending a lot of money, AboitizPower says that it is their long time advocacy to save Mother Earth and to promote environmental awareness among Filipinos. If you can notice there are no blatant advertising on the game itself, that this is backed by AboitizPower. They plan to continue that in the long term.
Here we are taking poses for the camera before heading to Taal Lake where we tried sailing. Doing it is not 'a walk in the park' as I imagine, it's an extreme adventure. I'm one of the 3 lucky bloggers who tried it two times because some bloggers backed-out. Maybe they're afraid of the big waves. I'm afraid too especially on the first try, it's like our sailboat will flip over. Just imagine riding the Space Shuttle at Enchanted Kingdom, the feeling is two times of that, or even three.
By attending this event I realize a lot of things. Our world is a very beautiful place to live in, especially in the Philippines just like what you see on this photos. We all know that Earth is not on a good state right now, can we just sit and relax and see our beautiful Philippines deteriorate?
Do your share, act now just like in Alter Space, the power to change start with you.

good to know that there's still a handful of company who would do this instead of producing bland advertisements.
