ReplyDeleteno not necessary. but for the restaurants in Resorts World, just like "Passion" in Maxim's, you have to be a member to dine there.
ReplyDeletethe ultra cinema has unlimited popcorn and drinks. still very affordable for students.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pictures, they are great. Highlighting the beauty of the cinema, colorful and very plush, you'll feel like royalty.

ReplyDeletewhen you are going to purchase tickets in advance make sure that you really are reserved. they have the worst tickets reservation. We reserved and paid for tickets weeks ago only to find out that they sold our paid tickets to someone else. Smart huh?? their excuse, they were not able to read their emails and someone forgot to call the ticket booth? HAH!! stupid!! You should all be fired!
ReplyDeleteI wonder... where's the fire exit just in case something happen...
ReplyDeleteIt happened to us too! We already have the 'physical ticket' only to find out that they sold our seats to other customers.
ReplyDeletei just got my membership for marriot. is that the same membership card that i have to use to be able to dine at "passion"? help pls
ReplyDeleteyes.
ReplyDeleteI want to try this. Philippines is really stepping up.
ReplyDeleteResorts World Manila is run poorly. #1. Don't go there on a rainy day unless you want to get wet inside the mall. Not just one spot but all over The Plaza/Atrium (fountain area in the middle of the restos) is pouring rain. It's very naturalist, you'll feel you're just like outside having a shower under the rain. #2. Hassle-Parking, not high-heel friendly, not all parking levels have entry to the mall. Most importantly, #3. Security is not helpful unless you make a big fuss. A group of decent looking men took the Php50,000 SLR camera from my table (cam borrowed from my husband). Panic, shocked yet still wanting to retrieve item, I ran to the nearest security officer. Their response, check your space again because I might have just misplaced it. Thanks for adding insult to injury! Next step, have to file written report first then wait for them to approve it if they will allow viewing of surveillance video. It took them 2 long agonizing hours (after the incident, gave the robbers chance to get-away) to take initiative to review the surveillance. They only took action on my case because I brought in police and was shouting at the lobby infront of all their incoming guests. Actually I have not seen the footage because they don't allow it so they only did a re-enactment of what happened. They were able to question the driver of the cab that the robbers used as get-away but they didn't invite me to witness it or ask questions for myself. They didn't ask the people around, they didn't get statements from the nearby exhibitors/restos present during the incident. I was the one who did that and called them to put it in black-and-white. Because of the trauma and anxiety from the incident, I can't move-on so I'm doing my own investigating. People told me, that there have been several cases of robbery by the same group in Resorts World. Also found out that this group of robbers have been roaming the mall the day before my incident and failed to victimize because their unusual movements was noticed by one of the exhibitors. But the security of Resorts World didn't notice this? They claim to be world-class but I don't know if their security can live up to their claim. It is indeed a place to play --- for robbers. Isn't that negligence? Isn't that bad management?
ReplyDeleteResorts World is a nice place to go to for Manileños looking for a quick fun getaway right in Manila. Anyway, if you would really like to visit a hotel aside from one in Manila, nearby provinces like Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite offers several relaxation hubs that can give hotels in the metro a run for their money. Anyway, you don't need to go as far as Mindanao just to see the most beautiful resorts in the Philippines. Just a 2-hour or less drive from Manila, there's this Mount Sea Resort, an unassuming resort in Cavite complete with the finest offerings of a Manila hotel like a Waterfront Pool, spic-and-span guestrooms, cleans bathrooms, clean air, and fine menu. See for yourself!

ReplyDeleteNo way we will just go there and fall in line to secure tickets for whichever showing time is still available.
